Ratan Tata

Who isn’t aware of Rata Tata! The 82-year old business tycoon has over 2 million followers on Instagram. Recently, he released a post through which he spoke up against online bullying and trolling. He even urged everyone who read the post to do the same. The fact that Mr. Tata’s post went viral within a few hours isn’t surprising. Someone even mentioned, “Yes sir. It’s kind of you to share these words which really mean a lot.”

The world-renowned Indian industrialist Ratan Tata earned praise over the web for his latest post. In it, he urges people to be kind to one other, particularly while interacting via social media.

It was a regular post that he shared on Instagram. However, one shouldn’t forget that “The Ratan Tata” shared it. Naturally, it had to go viral, and it did, over multiple social media platforms.

Mr. Tata, in his own words, is very much aware of the challenges faced by people this year on one level or the other. He noticed how the online community has become more hurtful than it was before. People are always ready to hurl nasty and harsh words at one other in an attempt to show them their true place. Nobody takes a moment to stop and find out more about the matter. Everyone’s in a hurry to pass their judgments.

He believes that this particular year needs humanity to remain unified and helpful. Right now, there aren’t any reasons for anyone to pull the other person down. The troubled state of the Earth requires people to be more sensitive towards each other. One should shower more kindness upon the other and understand what the other person is experiencing. He heartily expects people to showcase their humanity more during times of crisis like these.

Despite being 82 years of age, Ratan Tata is an extremely busy man. Naturally, he never gets enough time to use social media platforms and interact with people. Nevertheless, he wholeheartedly hopes that the online world will evolve with time and become a place of empathy and support. He believes that the parallel universe that exists on the internet will stop bullying people and spreading hatred.

Indeed, the turn of events in 2020 went beyond everybody’s expectations. It started with a disastrous bushfire that laid waste in Australia. Then, the outbreak of the dreaded COVID-19 took place that engulfed the entire world within a few months. The chain of events is such that it almost seems like the story of a sci-fi movie. Apart from these two events, several others took place. Most of them are so depressing that it isn’t easy at all to talk about them.
