West Of Dead Announced At X019

The game, West of Dead led by Ron Perlman is about to hit the market in 2020.

Announced at X019, this new twin-stick shooter game will take place in a town called Purgatory. The ambiance of the game, West of Dead is going to be dark and mean. Purgatory is a gloomy and untamed corner of the Wild West. It is a place where you will see sin and damnation at every step. The atmosphere remains murky with smoke exuded by guns, darkness, and a bit of witchcraft.

You will probably recognize Ron Perlman if you have seen Sons of Anarchy and Hellboy. He will be leading the story as the lead character William Mason. His appearance resembles a dead man awakened with the memory of a figure in black. Everybody knows how difficult it is for people to accept that they will die. In that respect, William Mason’s very existence sets of a chain of events of truly mythical consequences

As the player, you will delve into the world of Purgatory where you have to put your skills of shooting to the test. You have to shoot and dodge bullets at the same time as you make your way through the town. It is all about taking names and cracking skulls with bullets. Do you believe that your soul will survive the journey? Well, it depends on your skills with guns, doesn’t it?

Do you wish to try it out? Then you are in on an early chance. An open beta version of the game is running on Xbox one currently and will remain available until November 25th.

You can download the free open beta version of the West of Dead from the Microsoft Store. It will be easy for you to fit on the Xbox console. The official description that came out confirmed that the open beta version is lesser than 2 GB. You can download it on Xbox One and Xbox One X.

X019 also brought forward other new projects under development by “Rare” developers. One of which is a new IP called Everwild. It is still in the early phases of development. That is why the developers haven’t mentioned the release date yet.

Upstream Arcade is going to bring West of Dead to the players. Ex-Lionhead developers founded the Upstream Arcade studios. The full game will be available in 2020. You can play it on PCs, PS4s, Switch, and Xbox One.
