A new Italian-American family bar has been opened at Brooklyn by Alyssa Sartor and her fiancé Frankie Rodriguez. The bar is a new one and has been opened only in the month of May this year. The couple is experienced in running bars as they have worked in bars for long before deciding to open one on their own. It had been a dream for them and they have achieved it and now they are the owners and not mere workers in a bar. They remain busy all through the day but they enjoy the pressure at the labor they put in is for their own business and not for someone else.

Alyssa’s Love for Bars

Alyssa had the experience of bars as her father had a bar in N.J. She had finished the conventional education at the college and had started working for a corporate. Later on, she had gone for pursuing training for becoming a court stenographer. During this time, she was doing a part-time job at a bar in East village. She became so fond of the job that she left everything else and decided to pursue the working in bars as a profession. She took up jobs in restaurants and bars and increased her experience and expertise in this field. Her parents were not much supportive of her decision, but she continued her way.

A Business of their Own

During this period, she started having an affair with Frankie Rodriguez, who was also a man from the same background. He had rich experiences of working in large and reputed bars. After a few years, they thought of doing something on their own. After careful planning, they found a suitable place in Brooklyn and opened this family bar specializing in Italian-American Cocktails. The place is home to many Italian-Americans and even the maternal and paternal grandfather of Alyssa had the similar roots.

A Family History Remembered

Among the many drinks that are served, there is a special one that is in memory of Alyssa’s paternal grandfather. The bar has been named after her grandfather as August Laura. The other cocktails that are served remind of the classic Italian drinks. This is one of the best family bars in the region with excellent hospitality by the owners. It has been a real act of achievement for Alyssa and she enjoys every moment of it. It has been a dream come true for her.
