New Food And Drink Service Already Looking To Expand

Did you know about an innovative online shopping and home delivery food and drink service that launched less than a month ago? It’s already proving itself as a runaway success and is already thinking about expanding its business.

The name of the organization is “A Day’s Walk.” Based near Cartmel, the design of this company allows it to support the local while being kinder to the environment.

Every item stocked by the company comes from local farmers, growers, producers, or businesses located within a short distance from the company. It means that the food is always incredibly fresh. Very few companies that deliver food can stand up to this one.

“A Day’s Walk” made its first delivery on May 27th. Since then, they have been receiving the love of their clients. They are also experiencing the pressure of keeping up with high demands. Today, they’re delivering between 100 and 130 deliveries every week to their clients that reside in the LA postcode area.

Colin Sneath is a local provider of fresh products who works with “A Days Walk.” He said that 75% of the people who order from them are placing orders again. Even the company had to increase the number of orders that they placed to local producers by almost double every week. He specifically mentions how the company had to buy more products in the third week compared to the second.

He also mentioned how their popularity increased by the second. Today, more producers are contacting them now and then to find out whether they need food products or not. The company is already working with excellent producers, such as Ginger Bakers of Kendal and Kin Toffee Vodka of Newby Bridge and Hawkshead Relish.

The Morecambe Bay shrimps supplied by Furness Fish and Games Supplies of Flookburgh and damson ketchup from Cartmel Farm Foods at Kirkby Lonsdale will begin this week.

He mentioned his contentment regarding the way the business was going. He said that he expected there to be a massive demand for home delivery in the current situation. However, they were happy with the number of orders that they were receiving from their clients. Some were ordering for a third time while others for the fourth time. The best part is that all of it was happening in the fourth week. It suggested how much the customers of the company were happy with everything that it had to offer.

Colin said again that “A Day’s Walk” is preparing for the anticipated opening of the self-catering, holiday let market. It will probably happen by the next month.

The company believes that the owners of holiday cottages, caravan parks, and holiday parks own a special position. It will allow them to add significant value to the experience of their guests. They can offer this company’s services to the visitors.

When these business owners encourage guests to use the services of “A Day’s Walk,” they can also help to provide a lifeline to local producers that need business. It will help the hospitality market that’s currently suffering the pangs of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
